REQUEST
FOR ENGINEERING STATEMENTS
OF QUALIFICATIONS

The City of Atmore, Alabama is soliciting engineering statements of qualifications (RFQ’s) from qualified firms to provide preliminary engineering services and to provide engineering design/inspection services, if the project is funded, for the City’s FY2023 CDBG Competitive Fund Project. The City is studying the feasibility of applying for CDBG funds for a drainage project in the central section of the community. The professional services required shall be secured in accordance with federal regulations, as adopted by ADECA, and shall include preliminary engineering services to enable the proper documentation of the grant application and, if the project is funded, engineering design, inspection, and related services to enable the construction of the project. The factors to be considered in the award of this contract will include the qualifications and experience of key personnel, familiarity and experience with the City of Atmore, previous CDBG Program and related experience, previous CDBG drainage project and related experience, and proposed work management plan. An RFQ package containing information, guidelines, and rating factors may be obtained by notifying the City Clerk of Atmore, Becca Smith, at (251) 368-2253. To be considered, all statements of qualifications must be presented in the format specified in the proposal package and submitted to:

All statements of qualifications should be delivered to Atmore City Hall no later than 4:00 p.m., Friday, June 9, 2023. All mailed responses must be received by the aforementioned deadline.
